I was scammed out of $1,000 from my personal checking account by UTH London United Kingdom. what more can I say. I was to get a refund of $177.78 and $1,177.78 was deposited in my checking so I as asked to send a money gram back of $1,000 which I did they took $1,000 out of my personal account + the original $1,177,78. My bank can not stop payment Walmart can not do anything sice the money was picked up from Walmart in India. I was to send it to Alex Parker. I told to contact our local crime check which I will do. I have the reciepts of all transactions. all I wwant is my original $1,000 back.

I've had a magic jack for about five years. Never had a problem with majic jack, but rather a slow speed with my internet provider on occasion.

I do not live in the US, but can call into the US, either talking with family, or transacting business.

Magic jack is worth it's weight in gold.

I have had MagicJack for about 8 Years and it works just fine. I had a few problems, but their customer service was grate.

I used it for my faxes and an extra line.

I am going to get rid of land line and have phone number ported over to MJ. I disconnected the phone line and connected in to MJ and whole house has use of it.

I am getting ready to renew with in the next month.

I have never worked with such a horrible company, ever. They do NOT listen, they are trying to blame the internet service and i have done everything they have asked to get the phone to work. They keep giving me the run around and refuse to refund the balance of my service. I have been told that I need to get a new router for $$$$ so that their $ MJ will work. I have been told so many stories that I have forgotten which ones are in what order. I would NEVER purchase from this company again. I cannot recommend that you so so the first time. Run away, save yourself.

I am disabled homebound senior. This morning phone rang and woke me up. When I answered they hung up. I did reverse dial and got robo answer stating "Majic Jack Customer" we can't take your call. You can eave a message. How did they get my name, my phone number. I never showed any interest in this scamming company. I want to be removed from their call list. I want pop up ads to stop. How do we get rid of this scam company. Now to file complaint I have to come up with at least 100 words This is one more hassle to simply state my complaint about company to which this website is dedicated. Enough words yet?

Turns itself off, can't be heard when answer call, turns it self off, and won't work on my computer. | Magicjack review from Pasco, Washington

As soon as my 30 days to return the product was up it stopped working. I am pregnant with 3 children one who has special needs. If I needed to call 911 I would be screwed. When I make a call or someone calls me they can not hear me. Sometimes it won't load on my computer, and it turns itself off. I am beyond mad. I tried using their live chat feature to get help with these issues and that doesn't work either. I haven't been able to find a customer service number or a way to reach someone to complain. I want to sue them for false advertisement and for just being *** irritating. There went $150 down the drain. Could of bought my kids shoes and *** that would of been worth it.

Did you try to connect the Magicjack DIRECTLY to your modem instead of the computer. Most people do NOT realize or understand that IF your computer shuts down, goes into sleep mode, etc., your Magic phone line will NOT work.

You have to do one of 2 things if you have Magic plus: if you plug it directly into your computer, make sure that you have set you Power Management to where your computer never shuts down unless you are doing it (remember though if you do, your phone line will be out until you turn the computer back on OR the best way is to plug the Magic plus directly into the modem if possible. I've found this is the best way for NOT losing your phone line. Every once in a great while you may need to reset it especially if you have had a power outage or something similar.

I don't know why customers do NOT read the complete instructions or cannot figure these things out.

By the way I am NOT from Magicjack.

I am a customer just like you who figured out the best way to use it.

Magic Jack Plus stopped working | Magicjack review from Seattle, Washington

Had MJ Plus for a year and worked fine. Stopped receiving calls with no notice, callers just got ringing. Outgoing calls ok. When found out, very frustrating spent three hours on chat (no phone support). At instructed, upgraded firmware, then MJ stopped calling out also. Dead in water. Decided to port number to another service. When they started the process got an email from MJ saying they were going to charge $30 to release service. Service was ported anyway by new company with no charge. MJ was a good product, but I would never deal with a company with such poor service. Note $ loss is having to go with a more expensive service.
