Can I transfer the old modem to a new modem?

I had a modem the stopped working so I got a new one. Can I transfer the old one account to the new modem account ? The old modem stopped working so I thought the Magicjack stopped working and therefore I got a new Magicjack which I think doesn't work as the green light doesn't come on.
