Phone went out | Magicjack

Tried to get repair from tech support and kept getting cut off..6 times..I know ,crazy me I kept trying..finally called on cell phone and was told I needed to get set up mine was out dated? This update would cost me $44.00 + s/h. Also no refund of yearly payment I'd made several months ago.. now this could be free but I'd have to go thru tech support on line.. the same people that I'd been cut off from 6 times.. when I explained they went into robo talk ..you have to go thru on line tech support..but I cant I said it doesn't work! To bad ,no refund ,no fix the service.. and they speak poor English..I liked magic jack but no good if it doesn't work..all in all I'd say very poor repair service..extremely poor customer service..and I gone .bye bye

This is probably the worst customer service and also the worst equipment I have ever used in my fairly long life. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY this junk. It isn't worth the hassle. This is one time where you actually get what you pay for. I'm supposed to enter 100 words but this product isn't even worth the time to enter that many words. I've had 4 of them and 3 of them broke and when you try to get service you end up on a "chat window" for over 2 hours. The support is helping so many people they forget what you ask them and keep repeatedly asking you for the same info. JUST STAY AWAY.......it is not worth your time and certainly not your money.

Bought the magicJackGo and it cant make call to Tmobile number in Tampa Florida. I contacted Tech support they are unable to assist and filed a report to "upper department". No response from upper department and problem persist. Ask for refund still no response.

If this will help the undecided about Magicjack. I purchased the Magicjack to have as a back up in hurricane season. I tried calling my MagicJack line the other day only to find it does not ring or does the call go to voicemail. I called customer service and the woman told me to call back tomorrow because tech support is closed for the day. I went on line to find more information and connected to assistance with the MJ's tech chat room. I don't know how they call themselves tech support. First I had to wait expected time 59.01 minutes only to find that tech had to pass me on to a higher level. I did the exact same thing unplug and plug. I was then told to wait and that tech signed off. Finally after several minutes another party came into the chat. I did the same thing plug and unplug. I was then told to wait while they were checking the system. I was then asked to follow a procedure. I did not realize I was given the ok to have MJ check my pc remotely. Upset with myself and nervous about someone checking my pc and not giving me feed back was scarey. Waiting and waiting and then I read support disconnected. I have decided MagicJack is not worth the hassle or are they qualified to remotely check anyones pc.
