Magicjack - Magic Jack operator rude and condescending / lousy customer service

After explaining at length that the credit had not been applied to my account, I was eventually transferred to a "higher level of support" Faye, who was quite rude and condescending . When I asked for the name of her supervisor, she said she IS the supervisor, so I asked for the name of her manager... she then abruptly ended the chat. MJ after 7 years, you are losing a long time customer. I will now start looking around for a different provider. This person's attitude was completely unnecessary. (since this feature requires 100 words, the last bit of our conversation is copied below) Faye: Hoping that somehow i did an excellent job addressing your concern. Sharon: you did help figure out the proble... however i realize that although you may have some difficult people to have to deal with sometimes. Magicjack - Magic Jack Minus

The new Magic Jack Plus failed after 3 days. The only "support" is through a live IM system that is overburdened and very slow. The agents seem to have a script "unplug the device, wait 3 minutes, etc." then the next step is "turn off the router, wait 3 minutes, etc." After those processes have failed to solve the problem, the whole thing starts over. It isn't possible to communicate with a supervisor or manager, only with the marginally skilled, underpaid person who happens to be there at the moment. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a Magic Jack - it's junk.

Magicjack - Worst Customer Service ever!!!!

This company has the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. i signed on and noticed that my device got switched and i never told them to switch devices. i tried to call them, but they do not do ANYTHING over the phone. i tried to explain what happened on their chat and they blamed me for breaking a TOS which i did not do. when i explained that to them they "disconnected" the chat. i restarted the chat and asked for a manager... they switched the chat to one of their "top 10% agents as rated by our customers" and i tried to explain the situation to him and he disconnected the chat just like the other person. DO NOT GET A MAGIC JACK... YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!

you can go to the credit card company and file a complaint and most of the time you get your money back but you need to do it fast thay have a time limit in filling.
