I lost international comunication | Magicjack review from Orlando, Florida

I lost my International communication, called tech support. They could not fix my problem even though I have plenty minutes available. They told me that in order to fix my problem I have to pay them $ 199.00. I told them that I did not have that kind of money, so they ask me how much I want to pay and I told them, nothing because they supposed to know the problem and fix it. Because I refused to pay them, they got nasty y hang up on me. I have family oversea and now I can not communicate with them. Does anyone know what can I do?

I called because my magic jack was not working. I allowing the tech to log on to my system. Only to be told that my network had been hacked by someone in Nigeria and for 149 or 249 I could have a anti networking tech level 12 help clean up my network. When I told him I was not going to pay for the service the call was immediately dropped. My computer was reset by the technician upon resetting he was still logged on to my computer and I asked him why he couldn't explain and he told me I terminated the call.

MY MAGIC JACK QUIT WORKING. I CALLED MY NUMBER FROM MY CELL PHONE & WAS TOLD IT WAS NOT A WORKING NUMBER.

I CALLED FOR TECH SUPPORT & THE PERSON HAD A ACCENT OF SOME SORT & I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT HE WAS SAYING.

I GAVE UP DISCONNECTED. MY NUMBER IS 304 300 8913.

what a ripoff this magic jack ***, and they don't even have a good service or signal. after trying to pay 3 times to renew it, and *** chats with people (if you are lucky to find one) that have no idea what they are talking about, because they don't have a phone number to actually talk to somebody, everything is by chat.. they disconnected my mother's magic jack....... I don't understand this company.. buying the equipment at the store and renewing the one that you already have..isn't that the same ***???????? ripoff!!! I knew it looks too good to be true

My complaint to MJ In March 2012, I have bought two MJs and since I am using the MJ as my regular telephone connection, I have PROBLEMS receiving or making phone calls. ALL calls, INcoming or OUTgoing, are CUT OFF several times - NOT even lasting a full minute. This is happening to local or long distance calls - in order to have any conversation, either I, or the other party has to REdial because the connection is INTERRUPTET without warning. The callers from EUROPE receive some recording right of way when dialing my number WITHOUT getting a ring on my end BUT, right of way, I am getting THE VOICE MAIL message from MJ sent to my Email - of course, without a message from the caller - since they did not even get a ring from my end of the line. The voice mail message COMES ON RIGHT OF WAY when someone is trying to reach me - their call DOES NOT REACH MY HOME !! - again, it does not matter if it is a LOCAL or LONG DISTANCE call. Many times, when I try to make a call, I get a recording from MJ "Check your internet connection or visit MJ Customer Care". This is another impossible task a MJ customer is subjected to: Being on CHAT with a so called "MJ Specialist / Representative" for HOURS (where he/she tells the customer what to change and check on the actual MJ hook-up or on the customer's computer and NOT gettting ANY results - THE PROBLEMS are still THE SAME! NOT being able to receive phone calls nor placing calls without problems. MJ is NOT producing what it advertises but taking my money. I am requesting, either getting this problem corrected immediately, or return my money. Regards, E. k.

Enough said. True,they are only skimming a 1.88 a month. magic does not let me log on to my account. they send me a password to my registered e-mail address then they tell me that my password does NOT match my e-mail address. there is NO way to contact them to tell them about the problem. I just renewed for another year and they gladly took my money. but I have been unable to use my magic jack. i do not recommend this device because there is no support from the company. they are just stealing from the people. good product when it works do not buy ever

That is the only thing mj does correctly and VERY efficiently is take your money. They can't do any thing else but the can efficeiently and correctly take you money and do it FAST.

Still trying after 3 nights to get this thing working..I can dial out, it will ring on in coming, but when I pick up or the other person picks up, we cannot hear each other. And the adapter that I sent to try and use in the wall gets so hot, that I am afraid that it may cause a fire..The company is going to send me another adapter, however, when will this thing allow me to make a phone call? This is suppose to be an upgrade. I had an old magic jack and it worked for us for 2 years..then we decided on this one that we could just plug in the wall..well, I'm really sorry I got it! I'm just waiting to see what is next..and if I will ever get to use this or not...Anyone else having this problem?
