I purchased a new MagicJack to replace the one I had for about 2 years. It came in today, and it didn't work.

After talking with a person and then Texting in a "Chat" the problem was discovered- the power adapter that I received in a new package today was defective. I switched the adapter that I use for charging my cell phone and it works. I asked to have the defective "brick" replaced and was told that I could, but I need to pay for shipping and handling. I shouldn't have to pay to replace a defective "brand new" device.

This, after waiting nearly 2 weeks for the device, paying for shipping and handling. There is no way to contact a Customer Care person from their web site, except to purchase something from them, or to be redirected and use text; No email address, no other phone number.

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $50.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: To pay for their defective merchandise shipping and handling.
