This is probably the worst customer service and also the worst equipment I have ever used in my fairly long life. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT BUY this junk. It isn't worth the hassle. This is one time where you actually get what you pay for. I'm supposed to enter 100 words but this product isn't even worth the time to enter that many words. I've had 4 of them and 3 of them broke and when you try to get service you end up on a "chat window" for over 2 hours. The support is helping so many people they forget what you ask them and keep repeatedly asking you for the same info. JUST STAY AWAY.......it is not worth your time and certainly not your money.

Nine Phone Calls and I am unable to resolve a MagicJack payment issue!!!

I originally signed up with a Costco American Express Card for a 30 day trial. At the end of 30 days, they would charge my card for the program. I received the MagicJack, set it up and ported over my phone number. All good. But between my sign up and the 30 days, Costco switched their card program over to CitiCard and AmEx termed their cards. So when the 30 days were up, MagicJack could not charge the now dead Amex Card. I went into the MagicJack site and updated my credit card info to the new Citi card. That is when the nighmare started. The website does not let me resolve my outstanding balance with the new card, because the "product has already shipped". No phone agent can resolve this either. Three different escalations to "Account Review" has resulted in no return phone calls or emails. Two different urgent escalations to "management" has also resulted in no return phone calls or emails. Meanwhile, periodically I receive a notice from American Express that stupidly, MagicJack keeps trying to hit my old dead AmEx card. Basically, I have spent hours on the phone trying to pay MagicJack and they seem to be incapable of taking my money.

I take care of a very sick kid, that needs to rest . Everyday for they last 3 months Magic Jack Salesman has been calling here, just to hang-up then I answer it. I know is it Magic Jack because once it did leave a computer message. I also have missed calls on my phone, and about 30 calls on my phone record. Every time I call the number back it's a number that's not working or tells me to check the number. They keep changing the number from 562-247-4076 or 562-259-8922 now a new number is showing up 562-513-5238 all from Compton, CA. I have turned them over to the FCC, but the calls still come.

I attempted to install magic Jack on my computer, it froze on step TWO, I attempted to call the phone number on the package for help, phone disconnected, next I attempted to find help though the internet. I discovered a help button on the equipment( live contact) I was told to give them access to my computer, I did upon them getting access I was told there is a lot of down loading going on and it is hackers from Russia or China, she said they could fix the problem for three hundred dollars; I said I'll think about it and call back, she said if I do that there will be a additional one hundred dollars. I said forget it broke the contact removed the programs and equipment from my computer, I plan to return the magic Jack to where I bought it for a full refund.

Magic Jack told us we had to pay an additional subscription fee after we paid a membership activation. What a scam! The sales dept didn't even inform us of these additional fee for $140.00 for 5 years to use it, what a scam! Stay away from Magic Jerks, all they do is make your money disappear! They wouldn't even refund my money, I don't expect them to contact me, I just want to talk with my family overseas....

I have now owned a Magic Jack for over a year. Today they billed my Banking account 37 dollars and change. I never gave them authority to do this, as I cancelled my services over a year ago! Do not get involved with these people. They are storing all your banking information for life, and can charge your Bank anytime they wish, even though you have not authorized them to do so! I plan on filling a complaint with the DA in Florida this morning. This is Fraud! Try to reach them by phone, but they are always too busy to answer!
