My magicjack number was hacked and when i asked to resolve this issue with technical support they asked for money.

Magicjack - NO service after 2 years.

Paid for five years of magic jack. Several individuals would have problems calling me. After the first year the service really started going downhill. I did not know at the time that I was not getting a lot of phone calls/messages. I was sent important phone calls and I never got them!! The answering machine would pick up on the callers side, but I never heard the ringing of the phone nor did I get messages on my telephone. I really don't know how long this inferior service quality was going on. It started getting to a point during the month of November of 2016 they would leave a message and I never got it on my phone. NOW if ANYONE would call me I never get a ringing on my phone to let me know I have an incoming phone calls. I finally had to resort to going with my cable company to get a NEW phone agreement. I don't know how this company stays in business. I bought the Magic Jack phone connection through Magic Jack. The quality of service was an eye opening experience. When I would talk to my sister in law the phone would go dead and I would have to call her back or she would call me back and we would accuse each other of hanging up on each of us. This was on-going for a LONG time. Don't waste your time, money and hair pulling by purchasing this device. I can not call or receive calls and this has been since last year 2016!! I could understand the inferior quality if I bought this product from another source, but this was from Magic Jack and was purchased through Magic Jack. I would definitely reconsider purchasing this product because it isn't worth the frustration.

Magicjack - WORST THING I EVER BOUGHT

I changed from Comcast to DISH 2 years ago and was told that Magicjack would with DISH. Don't bother, it didn't work for 2 years. I just switched back to Comcast and attempted to port my old number back. It's been two weeks and many telephone calls to MJ. Their people just talk right over you and don't stop and listen. Plus, every time I called I was told to call back again during working hours that seem to change every time I call. I don't know where these 'people' are, but I must say I wish I had never heard or spoke with them. For me it was the most frustrating calls I have ever had with any company in my life.

Magicjack - Not worth your time - RIP OFF

I have been battling with Magic Jack customer service for almost a year now. That has been a challenge in itself as it is overseas and they seem to have a difficulty with the English language. I paid over $50CDN for the service and was trying to use the app. It has never worked and each contact with customer service they did a reset. it took nearly 7 months to even get to someone that claimed to be a supervisor and still he stuck to the corporate line. I demanded a refund and now no one will talk to me because the service is more than 30 days Complete ***! I will never pay another cent to the company nor will I recommend it to anyone in fact I will do my best to deter people from using it. Complete runaround and a total frustration. I may be CHEAP and there is a reason for that!

Magicjack - Great experience

We've been using Magicjack for over six years and are ready to renew for another five years to save additional money. As long as we have a good internet connection our Magicjack phone works anywhere. Great product and great service. We've only used their customer service once and that was when we first got it so we are not able to rate their current customer service at this time. Now I might complain some about this rating service though as they are requiring me to enter at least a hundred words which is a little bothersome since who wants to write a review with a minimum of one hundred words!

I have MJ since 2007 one of the first to have it. about eleven years ago.

Wow how great it is. When I got it they had only two area codes to pick from and said they would have more. after all the years of paying for 5 year at a time I got the MJ GO so I do not have to use my computer. Never have I had a problem in fact it more than once worked when my normal phone was down.

I shake my head in wonder at how low cost it is even taxes on a normal phone cost so much much more than MJ.

And all the extra things normal phones charge for are free with MJ. I look at the $20 a year with the 5 year plan as about as close to free as free can be.

I now have the MJ go with my area code and do not need to have my computer on to use it.

AS FAR AS CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU CAN CHAT WITH THEM BUT AT THIS LOW PRICE DO NOT EXPECT TO VOICE CHAT WITH THEM.
