Magicjack is a great device
i have had magicjack for 1 month now. i am very happy with the product. it is easy to get live support. the agents are very helpful and polite. All you have to do is click on live support to chat and they will help you. this little magicjack saved me 400.00 this month, which was great since i have 2 teenagers in school. my advise is, don't give up trying magicjack, it does work and i think everyone should have one. I love mine. it's better than having a bunch of high phone bills these days.

Magic jack doesn't work!!! I purchased Magic Jack to replace my phone service and had canceled my bell south service- BIG MISTAKE! Always had a bad connection. Could hear an echo. Couldn't even have a conversation. Wouldn't connect calls at times. Couldn't use the Internet when on the phone. I tried everything to fix it. I bought two new phones-like magic jack said to do if you had problems(I thought my old one was the problem) Money wasted again! Job hunting is a joke with *** phone connection. I am more than pissed off. I feel like I have been pissed on instead!
I think its time we all came together to get back what they owe us!!!!!!!! What do you guys think? This thing only worked for about 5 weeks. Now all of a sudden, I cant hear anyone and they cant hear me! I have tried live chat with no success. What I want to know is...
Magicjack in Purchase, New York - Magic Jack - Only works off and on
I got Magic Jack, struggled with it for weeks before getting disgusted, then I thought well I'll just use it for a voice mail message number. That doesn't even work. Half the time the voice mail won't pick up. Most of the time I couldn't get a dial tone and it cuts out. I got two of them on the 30 day free trial. My neighbor tried her best to get it to work because she didn't have a phone at all and she had the same inconsistant results. We'd think "It's working!" Then someone would come by and say, "I called and called you didn't answer that new phone number." When asked they would say "No didn't get voice mail either." We finally sent back the free trial ones. I still have one I might take up the struggle again and try to see if it's something I'm doing wrong, but the fact that the voice mail doesn't work is a fatal flaw as far as I'm concerned. I could live with the inconsistant performance if people could at least leave a message when they don't get me.

i went to order the magic jack. went on the free trial website, first of all nowhere there do they say that not all area codes are available. then i get to the billing page and i enter my debit card. Dont quite catch the fact that the debit card will deduct my funds right away because on the same page and more distinct it still says free trial not billed until the 31st day. In my opinion it still says free so i should not have been charged. Chatted (no phone nbr available) to 10 different reps and was promised this and that, and no two had the same answer. in my opinion if it says free then its free. if u walk in a store and the price is 10.00 but it 5.00 the week before and the sale sign is still there then they have to honor that price. so should magic jack I wouldnt even have ordered the product had i know that my area code is not available.They dont care.

we got the magic jack about 3 monthe ago. the first month was great probably due to it being the trial period. since then it has been going downhill. the audible ih horrible. when we make or recieve a call everything is all broken up and not understandable. We have contacted the tech chat 4 days in a row and been on a merry go round everytime. We tell the tech to read previous chat and they still insist on redoing what the previous tech had us do...then they transfer us to a higher tech , who is probably sitting next to them and they too want us to redo everything. In the end we just wanted a replacement which we read needs to be approved by a tech, well it aint happening. We ended up contacting the BBB because obviously this company doesnt care and doesnt want to help out its customers.

Magicjack in Naples, Florida - "Magic Jack"
I bot one of the so-called "MagicJack" devices back on 6 June 2008. I went thru 3 weeks of perfect service with all 3 phones on-line. Then, zip! I have spent 3 (6 hrs) days with several so-called techies in Miami. Geraldine hung up on me. Marcy did nothing, Harold was of no help. Then, 2 Jonathans tried to help. Couldn't. Emmalee had me delelte ALL vid files, etc. Still zip. Then, I got Ryan, who boasted that he was part of the creating staff. He had me delete files, and then told me to re-boot. I sed how can I get back to you. He sed to get back into the Tech file, and ask for him. Well, U guessed it. I got Jacob and he sed that he'd pass me off to a higher techie but couldn't promise that I would get Ryan. After, MANY min.s, I gave up. No Ryan. This sytem if it every worked, would be a boon to mankind, BUTT so far it is a waste of my time. Which has been much of it. Also, I gave my land line (SPRINT) the boot before I got this contraption to work, the middle of Jun. So, now, I have just my *** cell phone (AT&T or whover has them, now) Their websites are all screwed up, as they don't do what they say they will. There is NO way that anyone can contect them, direct. I scalped a phone number (305-454-4232) that gets U no one as it rings and a message (indicating that it is MagicJack)says no one is there. They 2 men that I have talked to, via them calling me on that line, were Asian, and difficult to understand. Sam sed that he couldn't do anything for me.
Magicjack in Redwood City, California - No customer service, lies on shipment
Don't believe anything that Magic Jack says on their web site. Maybe you will get lucky like my friend and get the product in 2 days and be happy. Or you can be like me and pay for rush shipping, order early in the day to meet their "guaranteed same day shipping" clause, and then find out that they ship when they *** well feel like it. I needed the unit for an international trip to call back to the US but now it won't arrive in time. Won't they be happy to find out that I will file a protest for non-performance with Visa and they will eat the entire cost and won't get the unit back unless they send someone to pick it up.
