Magicjack in Peoria, Arizona - The worst Customer Service & Support ever. Even the managers.

This company is BOGUS. Worst support ever. Reps AND managers will cut off the CHAT line if problem is too hard for them. I have had it happen several times. They will give you a CHAT # and tell you if you need to call back refer to it. I have owned and managed my own sales and marketing -- including telemarketing -- companies thru the years and I can honestly say that MagicJack is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. The company ethics is horrible. Do NOT waste your time and money on a product -- a company -- just because you think you might save a little money. I can't imagine how any HONEST employee could work for them knowing what goes on.

Trying to leave magicjack and keep my home phome

Tried to transfer my number from magicjack keep getting the run around. tried last year and gave up and dealt with lousy service. While talking there is a constant break in every other word so neither me or the people I have on line can really understand what the other person says This year I am determined to leave the company and keep my number that has been mine for over 15 years first my billing address (they said) was wrong then I had to have my pin number that I have never used now they are saying they will let me know Wednesday (let me know, mind you) no promises So far this time I have been trying to cancel and keep my number since Friday and they are saying they "will let me know" Wednesday. I think everyone should post their experiences on facebook and twitter and warn all their friends

they are s....t. yes no support, and i did get to speak with some horrible monsters in west palm beach, fl. they were diabolical and evil. horrible company. i paid until 2016 5 years ago. when i had problems like you did i sent a complaint to the BBB and m jack put me on no service order. they would not give me service. they would say in other country language " we are investigating, will let you know if we decide to resume service. will not resume. bye. " they are a sick bunch of who knows what kind of beings. just stay away from them. they are evil and i believe they are also the same company that now has another service just like theirs and little thing to buy and no service, it will never connect to your pc, and on and on, same people. i would bet on it. and from the same place too ?? west palm beach, fl.

I don't know if MagicJack is real business. I buy MagicJack in 2014. It is primitive and have very bad phone service. They have not included real customer service. No phone number to call! You need to look where to go, and, if you funded something, you will be "play" with "children" or "someone from street" on the internet line. They can't solve problem or fund solution. When you on call, you will hear noise & beeps. Often, your conversation drops because of bad quality connection, etc. When someone would call to you, you can't hear the caller and loose call. Often, call disconnects. It would be nice to have inexpensive phone service, but, if it would include service... Attention MagicJack owner/owners! Please, find solution. You will have better reputation and more satisfied customers who will support your success!!!

Magicjack in La Vernia, Texas - Can't talk to support on the phone and its a phone company

I recently tried to renew my two magic jack devices for five years. One device renewed fine but the other one would not work. When I spoke with tech support on their "live chat" feature, It was apparent that the support person was getting confused about my problem. When I asked to speak to someone on the phone (after all it is a phone company) I was told I could not speak that support was only available via the live chat feature. When I could not get my problem resolved (simply reactivating my two magic jack units) I got blamed for the problem. Every time I asked to speak to a live person I got the old "support is only provided via live chat" answer. when I asked to speak to a manager, I was told she was the manager and there was no one higher I could address. I was also told later that I could submit a suggestion to "upper management" about the service support issue. I told her "so you do have someone higher to answer to. I thought there was no one higher than you". It was a complete exercise in futility. I will find someone else to handle my services now. It is a shame, the company use to be very good at the start.

Magicjack - Absolutely Not Recommended to a Friend

Over a five year period of being a customer I have now dropped three separate phone number accounts. The only way you can communicate with the company is via Chat. It is fairly obvious that English is not the primary language of any of the representatives that I have Chatted with. They could not get billing for these accounts moved to one date so that I did not have to string out my payments. They put a very annoying voice message reminder on your phone line starting about 2 months out from any bill due. You can't make a call until it stops, you can't get rid of it, and they won't take it off until you pay. The corporate is not even a USA one. There headquarters is in Israel. MagicJack, also known as VocalTec Ltd, has been sued four times. One was for patient infrindgement and another for defamation of character and fraudulent statements. Three fourths of the BBB complaints against the company are based on Problems with Product / Service. I had a recent dispute, one of several others, about $3 on my bill and they would not give me a credit for it. They lost a long term customer over a few bucks. If you are considering service, then I would suggest that you get what you pay for and you probably are gambling with your money.

This has got to be the worst product and worst customer service in the world. I actually used an old version from a fellow worker a year or so ago and it worked but the latest version did not. I have spent hours on line with their tech support to no avail. They keep repeating the same request & demand and it seems as if I go around and around in circles. They quickly pass you on to another support person who does exactly the same think. Anybody who buys or used this product is a fool. MAJIC JACK IS A SCAM!!!!!!!

I have called and called so many time over the pass year and they keep telling me that everything on their end is right it must be something on my end. I then had time warner to come out and he said the magic jack box is bad. So I called them back again and the guy told me to shut up and he hung up on me, so I called back again and he told me that it would cost me $99.00 or more depending on what was wrong I told him to kiss my you know what and hung up on him. Then I called another number to cancel my order and they told me I had to go on line and cancel on there. More powerful to you that have it and in joy it because they won't ever have to worry about me again...

The adapter that came with the magic jack was defective and they said they would replace it but I had to pay for the shipping and handling. Very poor practice on their part. I never dealt with any company that you had to pay for shipping and handling for defective part . They should take care of all expenses. This is true, I called Magic Jack last night because I was have problems with my device not working properly. Found out it was the adapter was defective.

The guy I spoke asked if I had another adapter from a cell phone try that, the phone is working now. He wanted to send me another adapter but I had to pay shipping and handling. I said if my adapter is working why should I pay you to ship me your adapter that says MAGICJACK on it. I said NO thank you.

I asked if my year be extended for two months because the adapter I had was a defect of there product. Of course, he said NO.

With that being said, I have had MAGICJACK for 10 years and I have been happy with the service it gives. I hope one day MAGICJACK will find a solution to be able to fax with the device.
