When I renewed MagicJackGo, payment got put on wrong device and MagicJack says they have issued credit but I have not gotten it.

Called MagicJack the first time because I got a notice to renew a couple of days after I already did that. After talking to them, they said that could not 'move' the credit from the wrong device to the correct device. All that they can do is refund it and bill me on the other device. I was told to expect the credit on my credit card within five business days. It is now passed the five business days and when I called MagicJack, after waiting and then speaking to an Indian Sounding person, I was told that I should call my credit card company and have them call MajicJack. MagicJack phone service is mediocre at best. MagicJack customer service is horrible at best. I am not sure that I want to continue using my MajicJack device. I may just consider the money spent as '*** TAX' and give up.

Magicjack in Springboro, Ohio - Majic Jack Won't Reconise My Account.

I bought a replacement Magic Jack Go and tried to use it a message came on and said my account had expired. The truth is that it was good till 1/2016. After I called tech and the put up with one person after another asking about where the MJ was plugged in, how many and what color the lights are, unplug, plug in, ect. All this after telling them that the phone was working good enough to get a message from them that my account had expired. They say we can fix that, we will send you up to a better person and we will fix you right up. Repeat everything three times. Then after they have finished scratching their heads they have a glitch and drop the call. I have hours tied up in this thing and it still isn't working. Their foreign customer reps only know what is written on there screen. I told one that the problem was in their systems failure to see that I had credit left on the account. His reply was to just go and renew for the full price and things would be good. And it went on and on. So it will be customer service on DayII. The fuse is getting short and the %!#*$@ are about to begin.

I too an experiencing customer support disconnecting me. For thee days I have been unable to make out going calls or to receive incoming.

Magic jack customer support hasn't been any help. I'm not sure what I'm going to do?

You got further than I did. Couldn't even get past the initial registration phase.

Used a mac, couldn't "see" the magicjack via wifi. Followed the instructions to plug it directly into the USB port, got the error message "usb accessories disabled unplug the accessory using too much power to re-enable USB device". Identical issue on three different macs (2 laptops, 1 desktop). Waited for customer support open hours to call, only to get a message referring me to their online chat support (good luck finding that link quickly).

Finally got a chat support person named "Gustavo." I detailed every step I tried. He then thoughtfully suggested we try every step again. Fairly shocked to get the exact same outcome (he was obviously expecting something else to happen). This was his final message before he stopped communicating: "Thank you for waiting.

So we have two options left. The first one is that apple is blocking any type of third party application to be downloaded to your computer. Your next step will be to contact apple and have them remove the "third party download restriction" on your computer. After following the first step and the issue persist, please see if you can try to register the magicJack device on another computer that is not mac" Not sure how that is two options, but Apple is not blocking 3rd party downloads.

Just for kicks and giggles I confirmed this by taking the two laptops to the apple store and the "genius" at the genius bar confirmed. Maybe Vonage will be better...

Magicjack in Boca Raton, Florida - Magic Jack took 6 months of aggravation to transfer my number

After using and loving Magic Jack for years, it suddenly stopped working and i could not receive calls. I spoke with live chats on the phone for three nights for 6 hours each night and still no repair could be done on my magic jack plus that I paid $49 for. I decided to transfer to At&T instead of always having to use my cell phone to make calls. It took 6 months and a $35 fee to magic Jack for them to relinquish my number over to At&t. I have a friend who went through the exact same scenario with magic jack also. We are both relly upset with what we went through.

Magicjack - Misled and possible scam

I was told when I was connecting my Magic Jack that I had too many problems with my computer and they had a program to fix all that. I stupidly agreed to pay $309.99 for this program. It is a scam in the best sense of the word. Magic Jack is a wonderful product and it is disturbing to know that this crowd is causing problems. I would also like to know why I must submit at least a 100 words in this review. Another command from out of the blue. I would like to have a refund, but that is probably impossible.

Magicjack in Snellville, Georgia - Waiting 2 weeks to get phone number

I ordered MagicJack a few weeks ago, the customer rep asked me twice for my credit card number, and when i checked my credit account the next day, of course they charged me twice, i called and was on hold about 40 minutes before the call was answered, she said they would credit the $ 63.00 back. Then i paid $ 10.73 to keep my original phone number, got an e-mail a few days later, was told i could not get that number because i disconnected my phone from Comcast. Called back again, was on hold for at least 45 minutes, then csr said i had to wait 2 weeks before i could get another number, so now without phone for 3 weeks. Still waiting for the payment credits.

Magicjack in Santa Clarita, California - Fraud, billing

I have now owned a Magic Jack for over a year. Today they billed my Banking account 37 dollars and change. I never gave them authority to do this, as I cancelled my services over a year ago! Do not get involved with these people. They are storing all your banking information for life, and can charge your Bank anytime they wish, even though you have not authorized them to do so! I plan on filling a complaint with the DA in Florida this morning. This is Fraud! Try to reach them by phone, but they are always too busy to answer!

had trouble with the phone called them they told me i had a virus in my computer sent me over to Ambeience tecnology which is their company scared the wits out of me I am an older senoir citizen told me my bank account was going to be hacked well 149.00 dollars later they told me they fixed it that was a bald faced lied they told me no such viris but they will not give me a refund now i called to renew my service and was told only for 5 years then 3 years got them down to one year they want 159.00 their web site says 59.00 for a year they tell me thats with tec service which i already paid 159.00 for complete rip off am going to complain to the fcc they are ripping people off and they are a foreign company how are they allow to do this?
